WARRANTY & GUARANTEES POLICY

Workmanship Warranty

New Chapter Constructions provides a workmanship warranty in accordance with NSW Fair Trading and the Home Building Act 1989.

Our workmanship warranty covers:

Cancellations Before Work Begins

If you cancel before work starts:

  • You may receive a partial refund

Cancellations After Work Begins

If you cancel after work has started:

  • You will be charged for all work completed to date

  • You will be charged for all materials purchased

  • You may be charged for restocking fees (supplier dependent)

Refunds

Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Quotes are based on the information available at the time.

  • Any changes to the scope of work may result in a revised quote or additional charges.

  • Unforeseen issues (e.g., structural damage, rot, asbestos, plumbing/electrical issues) may require extra work not included in the original quote.

  • If materials increase in price before purchase, we may adjust the quote accordingly.

Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit may be required before work begins.

  • Progress payments may be required for larger projects.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of the work.

  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer.

  • Work may pause if payments are not made on time.

  • Materials remain our property until full payment is received.

Variations (Changes to the Work)

Access to the Site
